POSITION OFFERED: Nursing Faculty – PRODiG+Community College Program EMPLOYMENT DATE: August 17, 2026 TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Renewable, Full-Time, 10-Months JOB DESCRIPTION: This position is part of the Promoting Recruitment, Opportunity, Diversity, Inclusion and Growth Plus Community College (PRODiG+CC) program. This is an initiative supported by SUNY system aiming to: (1) increase the number and share of excellent diverse community college faculty committed to advancing the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion; (2) strengthen the pipeline for retention and support of these candidates; and (3) hire qualified faculty directly into tenure-track positions to support the community colleges’ efforts to build an educated workforce in the state. Full-time faculty position in an Associate Degree Nursing Program. The successful candidate will join a dynamic faculty engaged in team teaching and shared decision making in a concept based, integrated curriculum. Position requires classroom, laboratory, and clinical teaching, committee responsibilities, student advisement, and other duties assigned by the Provost. This position may include teaching during evening hours. Teaching may involve teaching face-to-face, remote, day, evening, online, hybrid, and HyFlex courses. This position is within the Faculty Association Union. Candidates must currently reside or be willing to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for the duration of employment.
REQUIRED ELIGIBILITY:
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES WHO ARE:
EXPECTED HIRING SALARY RANGE: $65,447 - $98,168. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a College employee, this appointment includes NYS retirement benefit options with a choice of a pension or generous matches to 414H, attractive Health Care options with 80% of premiums covered by the College, post-retirement health insurance and supportive work-life balance with paid time off, tuition assistance and ability of application to Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in addition to other benefits offered by the College.
