MVCC's School of Public and Human Services invites applications for part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach courses in our Special Education, Psychology, Human Services, Chemical Dependency and Physical Education programs. Teaching faculty at MVCC have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the College mission of providing high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students. Overview of Job Duties: Qualifications: Psychology and Human Services: Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work (MSW), School Counseling (CAS), or School Psychology and/or NY State licensure (Licensed Master of Social Work LMSW), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Psychoanalysis required Special Education: Master's degree in discipline, active NYS teacher certification, and three (3) years of classroom teaching experience required Physical Education: Associate's degree and relevant experience required Special Instructions to Applicants: Official academic transcripts required upon hire.
