Job Description:
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS
- Data Analysis and Reporting: retrieve, manage, analyze, and report data in response to internal and external information requests.
- Planning and Assessment- determine business requirements and priorities, define key performance indicators (KPI), and develop Business Intelligence (BI) and data warehouse (DW) strategies.
- Database Development and Data Management- plan, develop, implement and maintain databases in order to facilitate quick access to, retrieval, and manipulation of data.
- Research- evaluate and apply advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical methods and tools to complete studies and projects that support institutional decision-making.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and maintain the reputation of the organization as a viable business partner.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
- Three years of experience in a position with duties that include data management, data analysis, reporting, project management, and/or quantitative research
- Advanced proficiency with query and reporting tools (such as Excel and Access).
- Experience with statistical computing tools (such as SPSS).
- Strong ability to organize, take initiative and operate independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to manage and complete multiple projects with strict deadlines.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher.
- Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods, statistical modeling and trend analysis.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and/or SAS.
- Understanding of assessment practices in higher education including student learning assessment and academic program review.
- Experience working with grants and data reporting.
- Effective group facilitation skills.
