Research Assistant I - Genomic Analysis Laboratory, Dr. Joseph Ecker
The Research Assistant I position will be working as part of a team with the goal of using epigenomics to create an atlas of the human brain at single-cell resolution, through both sequencing and imaging. This position will involve training in specialized techniques related to the Ecker lab focus of single-cell multiomics. Main duties for this position may include: large-scale generation of methylation sequencing libraries using a robotic pipetting system, Cryostat sectioning and fluorescence imaging for spatial transcriptomics through MERSCOPE, nuclei production and sorting, and treatment of nuclei to evaluate chromatin conformation.
