Cancer Registrar - Relief
Department OverviewThe OHSU Cancer Registry collects detailed information about the diagnosis, treatment, and survival of cancer patients at OHSU. The registry serves as a resource to OHSU, the Knight Cancer Institute and other facilities associated with the OHSU Knight Cancer Network. With over 140 discretely coded data fields used to describe each instance of cancer, registry data can be put to use improving cancer care and public health in numerous ways. The registry also supports the OHSU Cancer Committee in all of its efforts to maintain accreditation with the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, including data quality control, compliance with commission standards, staffing assistance for registry operations and data mining.
