University Police Inspector
The University Police Inspector is responsible for managing criminal and background cases; conducting and directing major case investigations; supervising crime scenes; setting investigative priorities and objectives through review of incident reports; conducting background investigations for sworn and civilian applicants; and contributing to campus-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. This role also collaborates and serves as the primary liaison with the Livingston County District Attorney’s office, Geneseo Village Court, community advocacy agencies, and federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies. The University Police Inspector conducts weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits of all investigations and relative follow-up that has been undertaken in all criminal case
