St. Ambrose University invites applications for a Comptroller in the General Accounting Department. The successful candidate will report to the Vice President for Finance and perform various accounting functions and directly supervise the General Accounting Department, which includes Payroll, Accounts Payable and all general ledger functions. This individual will be responsible for preparing financial reports and projections and taking the lead role in the closing process and annual audit, as well as review account reconciliations and perform other reconciliations of varying degrees of complexity.
