Laboratory Technician I - Molecular and Cell Biology Laboratory - Dr. Gerald Shadel
Under direction, position performs tasks and experiments in support of academic research projects. Responsibilities will include: preparing buffers/stock solutions, cleaning glassware, stocking supplies, creating inventory lists and cataloging. With additional training, responsibilities may involve tissue culture, sample preparation for imaging, molecular biology and/or protein isolation/purification. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates inventory lists of chemicals, antibodies, frozen cell lines, etc. Performs weekly inventory of lab supplies. Stocks and organizes incoming lab supplies.
