Assistant Professor, Tenure-Track or Associate Professor
Position Summary: The Rutgers School of Criminal Justice invites applicants for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant (tenure track) or Associate level. We seek a scholar whose research focuses on one or more of the following: 1) cumulative disadvantages created or reproduced by the criminal legal system and its intersections with other systems and institutions, 2) social harms resulting from systems of racialized social control, or 3) historical and/or contemporary policy and practice. The ideal candidate will broaden the School's existing strengths in the multidisciplinary study of crime and punishment. Successful candidates will demonstrate dynamic research agendas, effective teaching pedagogies, and meaningful engagements in service activities.
