Staff in SPA work closely with Sponsored Research Services Office (SRS) and Principal Investigators to ensure compliance with RIT, federal, and state guidelines regarding grant and contract administration. Required Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Accounting or Business Administration required; CPA or MBA preferred.
- Seven to eight years progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, and/or project accounting required, preferably in a not-for-profit or higher education setting.
- Hands-on post award grant administration experience along with knowledge of Federal OMB Circulars A-21, A-110, A-133, OMB Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200) and federal acquisition regulations (FAR), required.
- Enterprise wide financial applications experience including ad hoc report writing and PC based computer skills required with advanced knowledge of MS Office products.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
