Position Title: Visiting Assistant Professor, Computational and Applied Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics, University at Buffalo, State University of New York, is accepting applications for a two-year non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor (academic-year commitment). Renewal for additional terms is possible with satisfactory performance and dependent on departmental teaching needs.
Successful candidates for this position will help to implement our proposed masters program in computational and applied mathematics. The position involves teaching and developing content for courses in mathematical and scientific computing and data analysis, as well as other related courses in the applied math curriculum at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Other duties may include designing computational content for certain undergraduate courses such as probability, linear algebra, differential equations, etc. The expected teaching load is three courses per semester.
