Le Moyne College, Syracuse, NY, Madden School of Business, is seeking to fill the inaugural Director for McNeil Academy and Professor of Practice position in Risk management and Insurance. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in risk management and insurance, conduct impactful quality research, and provide services to the college, community, and insurance industry. The candidate should be willing to develop/teach online courses and develop collaborative relationships with the business community.
The candidate should hold a minimum of Master degree in Risk management and Insurance and have extensive experience in Risk Management and Insurance Industry. Although research is not a requirement, it will be considered as plus if candidate can maintain research and scholarship. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
The Madden School of Business has a state-of-the-art Finance Trading Center, Bloomberg terminals, and Capital IQ. The successful candidate is expected to utilize these resources in his/her teaching and research. It is also expected that s/he will collaborate in research and scholarship with students and existing faculty.
