Provides administrative support for a group of 5-7 university Major Gifts Officers, each of whom manages 100-150 households having the potential to make gifts of between $100K and $10 million. Responsibilities support the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of university and multi-interest alumni, parents, and friends.
Formal training beyond high school of six months to one year, with 2-4 years of experience or equivalent. Proficiency required in Windows software packages, the Internet, databases, networked informational systems and report writing applications. Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/assignments for multiple people. Must be able to work under pressure and meet established deadlines. Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
An Associates or Bachelor's Degree would be preferred, with 2-4 years of practical experience. Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, FileMaker and/or Access, PeopleSoft and Brio is preferred.
