The hotel, with 153 rooms, is a full service property with a conference center, three restaurants and over 16,000 square feet of meeting and banquet facilities.
What You Will Do:
As a member of the Statler Hotel's Food and Beverage Department, you will help us with the day-to-day guest service in Taverna Banfi.
You will be responsible for greeting guests and providing prompt and quality table service.
Servers will also perform a number of related tasks, including: presenting checks to guests and receiving payment, opening and closing duties, setting and clearing tables, helping to keep our lounge clean and ready for service, and running food orders from the kitchen.
What We Are Looking For In A Team Member:
We are seeking candidates who have the right a combination of education, food & beverage experience and job skills to be an effective food service professional in a busy, upscale lounge.
Members of our service team should be highly motivated, dynamic individuals with a professional demeanor and superior customer service skills, indicative of a AAA rated Four Diamond hotel.
As a teaching hotel, our professional staff must have the ability to provide inspirational training and coaching to college students in an experiential learning environment.
With a business volume that frequently changes throughout the year, candidates must be able to meet a flexible work schedule, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
