The Division of Policy Translation and Leadership Development was founded in 2010 and houses programs that link policymakers to the School. Voices in Leadership invites leaders to speak candidly about their experience as forerunners in their area of expertise. The program is produced in The Leadership Studio for a private audience and webcast live around the world. Highly interactive, the videos are then posted with searchable transcripts for future viewing. Learn about effective decisions and ones that failed. Hear behind-the-scenes stories from newsworthy events. Engage with accomplished leaders as they reflect on their careers and share lessons learned. The Leadership Studio is a global programming initiative, designed to foster communication between scientific experts and international policy makers. The studio's live webcasting productions, including The Forum at the Harvard School of Public Health and Voices in Leadership, are clearinghouses for new research, policy and leadership recommendations from public health decision makers around the world. Produced in collaboration with major media organizations and outreach partners, live productions from The Leadership Studio attract participants from more than 200 countries and territories, and the programs and related content have drawn more than 4.5 million views globally, to date.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of logistics planning, organizing, and production of Voices in Leadership and other Leadership Studio events such as the Forum. This includes aspects of Voices in Leadership pre- and post production and marketing.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Prepares and sends announcements to Leadership Studio distribution list for Voices in Leadership and The Forum both pre- and post-events
Coordinates marketing packaging for Voices in Leadership (including video, posters, and other related materials) for each speaker's communication staff; creates post-event portfolio with closed captioned clips used on social media platforms
Coordinates social media outreach and presence on various platforms for Voices in Leadership (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), including digital advertisements
Responsible for all website updates for Voices in Leadership and targeted updates for The Forum website
Executes inputting of audience metrics in new Studio audience tracking platforms.Supports Studio outreach and branding campaign
Liaise with internal/external Harvard constituents including communications teams across the University
Works to create individual closed caption clips for Twitter, Facebook, and SPH communications staff as well as closed captioned clips to be displayed on public screens around Harvard
Develops promotional materials and updates the student portals

At direction of program director, creates invitation letters for speakers, and creates briefings for the speakers and moderators.
Supports editorial research efforts for the Forum and other studio productions.
Supports maintenance of division-wide contacts database.
Manages the Executive Director's calendar
Schedules briefing calls and drafts talking points for speakers and moderators.
Supports coordination of student-worker activities.
Audience management and Events Support:
Runs and manages aspects of event attendance including audience selection, for Voices in Leadership events. Will support similar audience and floor support functions for Forums and other Leadership Studio events.
Assists with engagement and outreach efforts for cultivation events.
Monitoring live streams including Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms. Provides promotional support during live events including Tweeting and social media post-sharing.
