Full-time, tenure track Nursing Faculty position at SUNY Morrisville main campus and Norwich campus. This program is an ACEN accredited Associate's degree nursing program enrolling approximately 250 students, 75 of which are at the Norwich Campus. Responsibilities include teaching theory and clinical in areas that include long-term care, medical-surgical, psychiatric, and obstetrical nursing. Future teaching assignments could potentially include, distance learning, evenings, weekends and offsite locations. Additional responsibilities include academic advisement; curriculum development; service on campus committees; student recruitment. Must be a team player, knowledgeable about associate degree nursing education and open to change. Travel to off-campus sites is required
Master's degree or higher in Nursing Current unencumbered NYS RN registration
Recent nursing experience
Background for in-depth teaching, curriculum development, and program evaluation responsibilities.
Strong computer skills adapting to technology changes
Strong communication skills
Membership in professional organizations
