The Department of Biology/Chemistry seeks applicants to create a pool of adjunct instructors to teach CHEM 101 - Basic Chemistry courses for the fall semester of 2019. Adjunct instructors are hired by the department; the School of Liberal Arts, Sciences, & Society; and SUNY Morrisville on a term-by-term basis as needed.
Adjunct instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction. Opportunities may exist to teach a flexible schedule that may include teaching assignments during days and evenings.
A Master's degree in chemistry or closely related discipline.
College-level teaching experience preferred
