The Administrative Assistant II performs a variety of professional and administrative duties that facilitate the day-to-day operations of department, as related to the graduate and undergraduate degree programs, program curricula, and program accreditation. Performs graduate secretary duties for M.S. and Ph.D. degree programs in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Assists students and faculty with all aspects of graduate program administration from admission to the program to the completion of the degree. Provides advisory, referral, and information services to students, faculty, and other university units involved with graduate studies. Undergraduate program support involves maintenance of email listservs, assistance with student advising process, and assistance with degree audits and certifications. Program curricula support involves course scheduling for entire department, student schedule adjustments and registration permissions, submission of curriculum changes to the University Senate, and coordination of course evaluations at the end of each semester.
