Position Title: Clinical Assistant Professor, Applied Ethics

The Department of Philosophy at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor. AOS: Applied Ethics or Ethics or any suitably related area. AOC: Applied Ethics. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of undergraduate service courses, especially those in Applied Ethics, including: Biomedical Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Professional Ethics, and Contemporary Moral Problems. This is a 10-month (academic year) non-tenure track full-time faculty position with an initial three-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. The teaching load is four courses per semester (one high enrollment course per term will be counted double thus reducing course load to 3), plus committee work. Salary: $55,000 plus benefits.
