Hobart and William Smith Colleges' Warren Hunting Smith Library seeks to bring onto our team a Resource Integration Librarian. This position offers the unique opportunity to join a team of librarians serving an engaged community of scholars in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be a creative and motivated individual with a strong commitment to exploring and facilitating the use of technology in service to teaching and scholarship. The Resource Integration Librarian is critical in leading the collaborative efforts of the Library to enhance and develop the delivery of content and services across the Colleges' academic endeavors.
This person will participate in a broad range of library activities, including the assessment, development and coordination of library services and the identification and selection of technologies that will contribute to the richness of the Library's services and collections. This position plays a key role in leading the Library's creation, integration and implementation of a wide range of information systems: including working with the Library's discovery system, building the Library's web presence and curating various online tools.

Skills & Experience:
M.L.S. from an ALA-accredited program or equivalent.
Experience delivering digital services in an academic or comparable setting.
Some knowledge of database design, web authoring tools, structured markup and common scripting languages.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, staying current with technical developments and encouraging exploration and adaptation in the community.
Experience managing projects, and developing collaborative partnerships.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
This is a full-time, 12-month, benefits-eligible administrative salaried position. Normal campus office hours of work are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the academic year with a possible shortened workweek during the scheduled summer hours. Some evening and weekend work may be required.
