The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (http://gsll.unc.edu) is seeking a superior and innovative instructor in German. This is a fixed term Teaching Assistant Professor position with a renewable one-year appointment to begin on July 1, 2019. The successful candidate will carry a full-time, 3/3 teaching load; duties will involve teaching and university service.
Education and Experience:
Candidates are expected to have familiarity with the methods and technologies used in teaching the German language at the college level. Native or near-native proficiency in German and English required.
