The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is seeking a Content Manager in the school of Marketing and Management Communication.

The Content Manager will be responsible for creating and managing various types of content (marketing, storytelling, web, etc.) for a number of Marketing and Communications platforms (web, email, social, print etc.). A critical aspect of this role is the ability to work well across various groups and functions within the marketing team, as well as externally with numerous partners throughout the college of business. A creative-mindset, with attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is a must.
Content lead for all partners within portfolio
Regularly meet with partners and strategize communications solutions that meet both the partners' and marketing's needs and goals
Contribute to the development of content strategies and processes
Conceptualize, manage, and execute content for a number of platforms and in various forms
Regularly use data to track, analyze, and forecast content
Conduct comprehensive audits and competitive analysis to inform content approach
Maintenance and/or creation of editorial calendars, writing resources, templates, and other content tools
Write, curate, and edit content as needed
Train partners on MarCom's content process and best practices as they relate to content creation, execution, and distribution
Manage projects and people to ensure successful creation and delivery of content
Strong understanding of best practices and upcoming trends pertaining to content strategy, web writing, SEO, and accessibility
Demonstrated writing skill for the digital space
Proficient in WordPress
Familiarity with Google Analytics and reporting
Ability to creatively think and problem solve
Excellent communication skills
Strong project and time management skills
Ability to work well as a team as well as independently
Proficient in translating complex information in a way everyone can understand
Basic competency of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign
Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Familiarity with Canva
Experience working with Trello
Basic understanding of Pardot and MailChimp
