Ithaca College invites applications for a full-time, three-year (with the possibility of renewal dependent upon departmental needs), non-tenure eligible Assistant Professor position in the Department of Chemistry to begin August 16, 2019. Primary teaching responsibilities are in general chemistry and organic chemistry.
Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to teach in ways that acknowledge and value the varied learning styles and interests of a culturally diverse student population, reflecting a commitment to encouraging the success of all students. We seek candidates who have relevant experience and/or a record of professional engagement with groups and communities underrepresented in the academy.
