The Human Resources Assistant will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department.
Primary duties will include assisting with keying monthly, off-load and part-time contracts and time sheets; processing prior service/employment verifications and unemployment inquiries; assist with managing new hires in the applicant tracking system; maintaining and monitoring Affordable Care Act records; assist with completing annual statistical reports; assist with planning HR sponsored events. Evening and/or weekend hours may be assigned as necessary. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required. An associate's degree in accounting, information technology, business administration, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution is preferred. Previous experience with processing payroll and performing other accounting tasks is preferred. Candidate should possess excellent analytical, communications, and problem-solving abilities. Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy are imperative. Candidate must also maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Working Conditions Typical office environment requiring the ability to operate telephone, computer, printer, copier, facsimile machine, and calculator. Also requires the ability to sit for long periods of time with a moderate amount of standing, walking, talking, and keyboarding. Some lifting and carrying of weight up to 10 pounds may be required.
