The Arany lab is focused on wound healing and tissue regeneration in the department in Oral Biology, School of Dental Medicine, University at Buffalo. The lab utilizes cell-molecular biology, biomaterials and biomedical devices to pursue clinical translational research to benefit human health. Besides academics, the lab actively pursue mutually interesting research with industry partners. http://dental.buffalo.edu/departments/oral-biology/research/research-areas/clinical-and-translational-research/arany.html A full-time research technician I position is currently available in the group. The position involves completion of lab safety and animal handling training prior to beginning lab projects. The individual will be expected to meet weekly with the PI, review relevant scientific literature in preparation for the studies, help with ordering supplies and reagents for animal studies, assist and pursue animal studies including performing procedures and post-operative care. They will also help with general lab organization and maintenance, attend weekly lab meetings and work with students and fellows in the lab.
