Budget Title: Staff Assistant (SL-2)
Salary: $20.03 per hour (Temporary)
The Binghamton University Psychological Training Clinic is seeking to hire an Assistant to the Director. This is a full-time, temporary position and the work schedule is Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. with part-time summer hours. The clinic is an on-campus facility affiliated with the Department of Psychology that provides a variety of psychological assessment and treatment services for adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. It is the primary training site for Clinical Psychology Ph.D. students. The Assistant to the Director duties include:
Liaising between the Clinic Director and university professional staff
Coordinating day-to-day operations of the Clinic
Monitoring of budgets/records
Overseeing therapist compliance with charting and documentation requirements
Performing routine monthly reconciliation and analysis for internal and external audit purposes
Gathering research and statistical data as requested
General coordination of services to faculty, staff, clients, and students
Excellent interpersonal skills, dependability, and trustworthiness are essential
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent computer skills and be able to adapt to new programs
Supervisory and handling of purchasing and budget experience
