Two Assistant, Associate or Full Professor faculty positions starting Fall 2019. Applicants must have a strong research program and an earned doctorate in information systems or a related field before August 31, 2019. Responsibilities include carrying out the research, teaching and service mission of the School. We are interested in candidates with a research record in at least one of the following areas:
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Economics of Information Systems
Web Technologies and Digital Markets.
We will also consider individuals with a strong research record in other areas including, but not limited to, healthcare information systems, information assurance, cybersecurity, and data privacy and ethics.
The profile and stature of the UB School of Management is on the rise. We will also consider individuals with a strong research record in other areas including, but not limited to, Healthcare Information Systems and Technologies, Healthcare Analytics (Payer, Provider and Patient related Analytics), Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, and Data Privacy and Ethics.
Applicants for the Associate or Full Professor position must have a demonstrated record of publishing in top academic outlets, a clearly demonstrated ability for superior teaching, and have demonstrated leadership capabilities through providing service to the department, school, university, and profession.
Regardless of rank, the candidate is expected to have strong communication skills.
