The Assistant Director works with on-campus faculty and the Project Advance administrative team in the areas of course development, teacher in-service training, field support, and administration associated with a large cooperative program involving secondary schools in the northeast. The major role of the Assistant Director is to provide administrative leadership and support for the delivery of Syracuse University courses to students taking these courses in high school. This entails an understanding of University and program policy and procedures and regular communication with school administrators, guidance, teachers, students, and parents. The Assistant Director also represents the program at the regional and national level as well as internationally.
