The Administrative Assistant supports the office of Sponsored Projects Services, a unit under the Vice President for Research and Economic Development.
Duties include: *Office administrative support *Maintaining office calendar *Triaging phone calls *Procurement using university systems and processes *Accurately enter supplier information into the business system
The ideal candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task. The Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of Operations in Sponsored Projects Services. The office plays a critical role in research administration at UB.
At least 4 years experience in a business setting. Excellent math skills, the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, and customer service skills with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
Associate Degree in Business or related field and 5 years of experience.
