The Ithaca College School of Business Department of Management (located in Ithaca, NY) invites applications for a full-time, visiting Assistant Professor position. The position will begin August 16, 2019 and end May 31, 2020. The successful candidate will teach courses in undergraduate and graduate programs in human resource management, strategic management, and other management electives as needed by the college; the candidate will also participate in departmental, school, and college service, engage in scholarship, and advise students as needed. Being able to conduct and publish high quality scholarly research in a collegial environment, in which both intra- and inter-disciplinary collaboration is valued, is a plus.
The successful candidate will join a cohort of outstanding instructors who excel in their instructional responsibilities as well as being research-active colleagues in the Department of Management who have published in outlets such as: Strategic Management Journal, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Management Studies, Leadership Quarterly, and Human Resource Management.
