The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is an 11-month position with primary responsibilities including the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of students with mental health concerns via pharmacotherapy and/or medication management. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the Counseling Center Staff Therapists and Health Services Medical Providers to coordinate the care of students with mental health needs. Other duties include facilitating referrals, collaborating with outside providers, participation in a chart review process, assisting with psychiatric care protocols and serving on committees as assigned, as well as possible on-call duties. This is a very exciting time at Syracuse University as all of our Health and Wellness related services are preparing to move into our new integrated wellness center in the summer of 2019.
