ACCOUNTING- California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California, Orfalea College of Business, Accounting Area, invites applications for full-time, academic year, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor tenure-track positions in accounting information systems, financial accounting, and accounting ethics beginning September 12, 2019 (or a mutually acceptable time). Rank and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All applicants must demonstrate or have the potential to develop a strong teaching and research record. Candidates must be academically qualified under AACSB standards.

This Accounting Tenure-Track Professor search will occur at the same time as a university-wide cluster of searches designed to increase curricular coverage of areas related to diversity and inclusion, as well as to promote inclusive teaching strategies across the university. If the successful Accounting Professor candidate's research overlaps with the area of diversity and inclusion, there will be an opportunity to join and support these university efforts.
Minimum Qualifications (Staff Only):
- A PhD in Accounting or closely related field - An excellent academic record demonstrating the ability to engage in high quality teaching and scholarly research at the undergraduate and graduate levels. - Demonstrable ability to teach accounting courses/subjects in one or more of the following areas, accounting information systems, financial accounting, and accounting ethics. - Service to the Area, college and University, and when needed new course development. - Demonstrable commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- A PhD in Accounting - An ongoing record of business related scholarly articles published in high quality journals.
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU.
