Position Title: Academic Scholar - Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor

The Jacobs School of Medicine (JSMBS) and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo (UB), State University of New York, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, is seeking BC/BE Interventional Pulmonologists to fill a full-time position based at our major affiliated teaching hospitals.
Qualified candidates will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor level.
The position is suited for individuals with varied interests and skills in clinical medicine as well as a commitment to medical education and research. Overall duties include serving as an essential Member of the Thoracic Oncology program, Director of the Interventional Pulmonary Service and Provider of Interventional Pulmonary procedures. Opportunities are available for providing pulmonary consultative services in the hospital and affiliated clinics and teaching students, training residents and supervision of fellows.
MD degree required
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Interventional Pulmonary Medicine
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of NY
Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
Clinical and/or translational research is encouraged
